Hey guys. Let us know if we can provide any assistance troubleshooting or installing our dumbwaiters, VRC's or cart lifts. We joined the forum simply to provide another method to assist our customers and installers. Additionally, we're always looking for assistance tracking down older manual/rope pull dumbwaiter equipment with our name on it. Give us a shout if you stumble across anything interesting.
Regards, Team Matot

Just Got called to re-adjust a new Matot dumbwaiter. One issue is the cartop bipolar magnet will not release the moveable plate on the hoistway doors! Will check to make sure the voltage dose not exceed 24VDC tomorrow! Are there any complaints about excessive amounts of residual magnetism? If so any suggestions on how to bleed it away? Sometimes have to wait 2 or 3min for the magnet to drop the plate. Also the door operator motor is rated At 1.45 amps and the fuse is 2amps If the door hits a cart, while closing, the fuse blows instantly. Basically the unit can only overcurrent by .55amps . I measured the door operation current at 1.45amps. The perfect answer would be don't jam the door. it happens a lot! A push to restart 2A circuit breaker on the outside of the controller, would save this customer, a lot of service calls and down time.

Be certain that the pawl magnet is directly center of the hall door pickup. If the pawl magnet is off center, it will magnetize the pivot arms of the hall door pick up.
