replacing the mac door operator with a 104 board, with a new gal movfr unit.
the mechanical part the guys should be able to handle, however has anyone done this wiring change, have a couple questions, ideas. The controller is a Miprom 21
first, if we get the 120vac movfr units, can i use L1A and L2A to power up the unit?
also as far as the inputs to the movfr for open, close, and nudge i was thinking that i could use L2A for the common, and then just put existing D010 wire into the open signal on movfr, and D07 for close etc. It looks like it should work this way, but any thoughts would be appreciated.

You can use L1A and L2A for your 120VAC. The open and close signals are as follows. DO10 has to be a ground type signal, same for nudging, which is DO4 0n the 104 Board. The close DO7 is an input and needs yo be 120VAC. I am assuming the the inputs are 120V and not the 24VAC type, something to check before you start. So you L2A for any inputs and L1A for any outputs.

just want to be sure someone has actually used existing l1a and l2a for power, looks like print calls for 500va minimum transformer power for movfr. guess i can check the va rating of existing transformer. i saw on one of my generic prints of a 1kva transformer for ll1a l2a easy enough to add another transformer, but would be nice to use existing wiring to save some time thanks jon for the info
