We are having a fire service issue on a 5 car group of Miconic's. Cars have been going into alarm and recalling to main floor. We were able to reset in lobby but cannot any longer. We have isolated the fire alarm system and removed it and still cannot reset. Powered down each controller and tried bringing them back one at a time and still cannot get a car back running. Any ideas?

Do you have a service tool?

No service tool and we can't get one. Adams did just sell us a few replacement boards though.

well if you realy isolate the Smoke sensors the reset signal is the first input in the first Hall board, normalyy is Bypass and the cars go to run when the signal is on

other way is removing eproms from MTV, but you loose Floor table must to performe a LEARN with HHT

if you have a MICONIC A or EPOCH II must to use the HHT

If it is a 5 group, the signal starts in the 1st lift. Search for the input ( jbf ) and bridge this one. Mostly it is a NC-contact.
