have a couple of towers with 3 cars each,20 stories, we took the job over about 6 months ago, and right away were bombarded with calls, intermittent 2809 faults, and various door faults. they have dsd412 drives, and we have seen only one actual drive fault on one of the cars that caused the 2809. we concentrated on the door locks, and were able to get the cars to run better with fewer break downs. now over the last month, they are starting up again, 2809 faults. lots of break downs of these 411 which is unusual, as we have many others that rarely break down. these cars have movfr door operators, and gal door locks. i have noticed that otis has installed relays i n the door lock circuits in parallel with the door lock load resistors. just the coils have been wired. anyone have any problems out there with gal door locks on 411 cars, with so many stops. we believe this is an on going issue, that has been there since day one of the install, as there were plenty of gal contacts etc on the job when we took over. any thoughts?
