What would everyone like to see in a next generation seismic switch ? Such as a more robust NEMA 4 enclosure. 24-32VDC input,In the shaft installation, Blue Tooth and Internet monitoring and Event history as service tools ??? HMI display of all 3 axis, adjustable low threshold warning ? Ability to add inputs- Temperature, water level, gas detection etc ? laser sensors for weight displacemnt ? Ian.

I would like to see buildings take over this monitoring like fire and sway sensors and provide the group with a dry contact. There is a lot of talk in CA about early warning sensors from USGS that would provide a few seconds warning. I feel like a EQ sensor for the entire buildings systems would be a more robust system than what the elevator industry currently uses, preventing false trips and battery power failures.

On the other hand we sell a lot of UPS power packs for EQ boxes after first group EQ trip due to dead batteries.
