Redexit stranger R Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 13	I have a car with an error# 26. The elevator will run for about 30 min with no problem, then it faults out. Replaced the brake panel, aux contacts on the contactor,relay interface board, and some relays on the ETS board. Any feedback or experiences with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

john jay old hand J Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 800 ohio	26 is a brake pick error. The Computer did not see the Brake Switch. If the Car runs for a while then faults, that is usually caused by the Brake lining rubbing on a portion of the Brake Pulley, and gradually heating the whole Pulley up. Then when the Brakes picks it doesn't open the Switch because the Shoe didn't have enough movement.
