So here's a fun one. This DMC, every 20 minutes or so, will just randomly open the door and close it, and then wait another 15 to 20 minutes and do it again. It's not the edge, door open Button, Independent switch, or any car / Hall calls. Doesn't happen on any particular floor, and I never lose the door lock circuit before it opens.

Has this happened to anybody else before?

Nope. Sat on the car top and watched the doors and limits. Nothing moved, and no LED change.

Is it ringing the gong or lighting the direction arrow?
“Never loose the door lock circuit”. Hmm. You’ll never see it open until it does...literally.
Have you ever found the car sitting with the doors open and out of service? Typical door lock trouble.
Clutch nicking the pick up rollers?
Check that machine allen head bolt on the linkage arm. If it’s loosened, the car door will drift open, or not close fully, but your limit and gate will stay up.

What I I meant about not losing the door locks was that I know the doors will reopen after a bit, while parked, if there's a door lock failure. This only happens while it's parked, and the doors Don't Drift open. This problem is maddening. And the only reason the customer knows about it is because there's a camera in the car, and somebody had nothing better to do than to watch the video from the previous night. Now, that's all they do.

No, I don't get a direction before they reopen.

Do a Door set-up. I am guessing your parameter table for the door does not have a saved value.
