gidday gents. just took over a job otis 2speed ac with ov20 drive as a add on. it appears as if otis may have disabled the maintenance function on top of the car.(im not blaming anyone but this happens a lot down our way) now from our friends at otis(we are previous employees)they claim they dont know anything. its pretty suspect bc its both lifts and from what we all know otis safety policies are quite strict, plus you have test drives on maintenance when doing upgrades. now i think they may have either removed an input wire to the drive or an input from the otis test tool. i have been thru the test tool and havent found anything to fix this. when you try to drive from the car when the test tool is on display mode all inputs look ok going into the drive. the actual event is the brake relay hy i think just comes in and out. your thoughts

no takers! ok what imputs do you need to the drive unit. i would have thought like any vf drive you need,
direction
fast/slow input
normal/inspection input
ok input
encoder input
then all you need from the vf unit is an output to drive the brake and encoder output.

ok no replies? i would have thought that you need like all vf's you need direction,fast/slow speed,encoder, ok inputs with brake output. is there anything else i should look for?
