Have a 4 car 5 stop group running on wild card. Board P24565 ( top board in picture ) has Led 1 flashing Led 2 & 3 off. Bottom board in picture with the multi colored ribbon cable going up to the card racks has Led 1 & 2 off and Led 3 flashing and Led 4 solid. I have no laptop at the moment so no clue what this is trying to tell me, I have tried changing out the CSV1 & 2 board but no luck. Any help appreciated.

This doesn't look like a Miprom 21. I have only seen this arrangement on a Traction Mod with the generator still in use, or on a hydro in a Government Building with all kind of extra non essential add ons. What is this exactly. You will need a service tool. I am not sure World Software and a laptop will work on this animal. Did you just take this on Maintenance?

Yea we have this on maintenance, Its a miprom not sure if it's a 21. I was told that it was one by another guy that knows these units better than me. This is a traction but no generators, has 6010 drives with DC motors if that helps. This in a veterans hospital so it is a government job.

This could be a 6010 with the MST Selector. I think this derives it's position from an encoder driven by a friction wheel, and optical readers on the car top going through vanes which are used to update the MST as to car position. The input from the encoder is a 12 volt signal to a modified input board. If it doen't have the MST Selector, then they are using the boards for Binary counting. I would check these closely. If it is MST, it will read the binary inputs if the R input is high and the su and sd inputs are low. I would look for a r u n input which should be high whenever ua or da outputs are high. Good Luck.

The SU and SD are inputs. These are Hi when U or D on the Drive is energized.

Another thought, if you have spare input and output boards, is to replace the hall call inputs and outputs one or two at a time. These also cause the computer to go into wild car service. If you can replace these first. Then look for other probable causes.

Pretty sure that is a Miprom 21 CPU with the piggyback PROM board. I suggest you get a hold of a Tool but you might try turning one car off at a time and see if you get your dispatching back.

hi. Friend Lord Vator. it is definitely a miprom 21. the upper plate of the image is the CPU where the diagnostic tool is connected, and the lower one is the I / O card ... I think it is a dispatcher .. in specific that fails it shows the equipment

This is indeed a Miprom. However I am of the belief that the 21designation was for digital AC or DC drives. The analog drives were not designated as 21's. And a 6010 was not either. The picture is of a dispatch group controller, or an MST selector controlled 6010. I assume this thing is fixed. It would be nice if they let everyone know what the fix was. It may be of help to someone else.

Hi guys. I have not worked with the SSC 6010, but with the miprom 21 ADC and DDC models I have some experience. but maybe some documentation of the function of each led of these Models 21 can be of help.

Top led on all three boards should blink simultaneous. If NOT, CHECK MIPROM 21 power supply for proper voltages If OK voltages check okay and still is not communicating, MSU, PIO, CPU, or CARDRACK could be bad.

Check LED2 on the MSU, LED2 on the CPU, and LED4 on the PIO BOARD for proper operations. These leds will change states when an input changes states.

If LED2 on the MSU BOARD is seen blinking fast with no inputs changing, check SS for 110vac to 125vac. If the voltage is too high or too low, tap 2PT transformer for proper voltage. If OK, then replace RELAY PILOT BOARD.

If LED4 on the PIO BOARD is seen blinking fast with no inputs changing states, check SS for 110vac to 125vac. If voltage is too high or too low, tap 2PT transformer for proper voltage. Measure each input for proper voltage (Below 50vac, add 5K resistor from CSV to input board terminal to pull up voltage). If okay, then remove one input board at a time until led blinks normally. Replace input board that makes LED 4 blink fast. Also remember it is possible to have more than one bad input board.

If LEDs on the RPB (RELAY PILOT BOARD) blink on and off every two seconds, check Miprom 21 power supplies for shorts and/or grounds

LED3 on the CPU should be LO.

If LED3 is HI check for proper insertion of the PROM BOARD and CPU BOARD, or replace CPU BOARD

CPU BOARD LED FUNCTIONS

LED1: Used in conjunction with LED1 of MSU BOARD and LED3 of PIO BOARD to indicate communications between all three boards. All three LEDs should blink in unison to show
that all three boards are communicating properly with each other.

LED2: Used to show that one or more inputs have changed states on MSU BOARD or PIO BOARD. LED2 will change states every time either board informs the CPU BOARD that
one of its inputs have changed states.

LED3: In the field this LED has no function. When first powering up LED3 will be lit. When proper communication is established, this LED will turn off. If this LED is seen blinking,

If LED is on continuously, verify that the PROM BOARD ribbon cable is plugged all the way into the CPU BOARD and that the PROM BOARD dip switches are in the proper location.

I hope it helps
