Working on a Mowrey EMAC 2000. All LED's are on at the same time. Elevator will run on inspection but not automatic. Fault in car says FC which is serial link wiring incorrect. Car has been running fine for years. Any help would be great.

May be running fine for years, so check the travel cables. Maybe Florida Flicker and Flash got it.

I'm no elevator technician, just interested in the elevator topics and general electronics.
For me it looks like a power supply problem (low, ripple) or something else stops the CPU from running (the CPU does not seem to reset and/or run if all is static on)

Power Off. Unplug every plug but the one on the top left (24v & 20v power inputs). Power on. If all your LEDs stay on, you're out of luck, it's just a bad board.

If on power-up only a few LED's come on, plug in the rest of the plugs one by one, and you should be able to see which set is screwing you up. Very likely your board is just toast, but sometimes a short or something in the relay board or other connections is screwing things up.
