I have received 2 BART tools and tried using them both on a DMC-1, TAC20-03 and TAC50-04. Neither of the 2 BART tools will communicate with any of those 3 controllers. Both BART tools are on old IBM Thinkpads. The IMS version is 2.3.0.7 running on Windows 2000 Professional. The cables are known good and the DMC-1, TAC20-03 and TAC50-04 are known good with a Windows XP laptop running IMS version 2.4.0.1 will communicate with the TAC20-03 & TAC50-04. The DMC-1 will talk to a PDA.
Not sure what may be going on with these 2 BART tools, but I am looking for any assistance in making them work. The BART tools are set to COM1 in Device Manager and so is the IMS tool. We are switching to RS485 for the DMC-1 and using a known good Orange cable.

"2 BART tools" IBM Think Pads, Win 2000, Win XP and obsolete IMS versions, did you acquire these 20 year old tools or is this what they are actually currently selling?

I am sure the BART tool has the different tools needed for Kone, Otis, Schindler as well as the IMS needed for Thyssenkrupp. Is there anything else other that the BART tool that has these?
