I am looking for a Schindler 300a Door operator manual. It is a LTI drive. I am having a problem where the door stops 1/2 inch before fully open and also slams when closing. It is able to complete a learn cycle with no issues. There is no door open reed switch.

Sounds like the mag switch in the closed position is not working. Does the LED for it come on when the door is closed? I can't remember what it is called.

If I recall, those remember a closing distance or travel. I simply mean when you power up and the door is not full open it thinks that is now full open and will then over travel in the closed direction. I recommend, killing the power, manually opening the door all the way,and then turn the power on. It should then start it's known travel closed distance from the correct full open position. Let me know if that works for you.
