Got a 3 stop in ground dover freight car. No prints on site, had an issue prior to us taking it over with the valve, we are installing a new valve, tank and motor, and starter. Troubleshooting now as it won’t run … data tag on controller says tested in 1966. Also says wiring diagram DW - 8794

Wondering if anyone has a set of those or something similar? Or has any knowledge of this vintage equipment?

What starter did you guys install?

Installed a new siemens soft start - actually got the motor and starter to work properly but the car won't run. Looking like it's either an issue in the old controller or maybe a hatch switch or something related to safety circuit open. Was hoping to get lucky with prints to try and eliminate something like the safety circuit rather than just shooting in the dark on it.

Dover had several versions of freight controller around then. Does your unit have relays 1A, TA on the controller? I sent you a PM.
