We have an Otis 211 that is getting a DCCP fault. Once reset the unit will run fine for a week or 2. Unit is in a school and maintenance is never sure when the elevator goes down. When I arrive on site the unit is sitting in the pit so im guessing its been down for a couple days at least. From research i know the DCCP is failure of MC or PMC contactor failure to pick. Would these contactors cause an intermittent issues or is there something else going on? Thanks for any ideas.
