Does anyone know how to turn off pre-open on an otis 211? It's an old Westinghouse pump unit in an exterior machine room and in the cold winter first thing in the morning it doesn't level consistently and the pre-open makes it much worse.

I have no idea on earth would there would be preopening on a hydro. No need for it and this ends up happening.

I'm not sure off the top of my head, but I'd imagine your going to need the blue tool to change that

I have a blue tool and a laptop that simulates a blue tool. I have seen prints that have the parameters and the setting in them but this job has no prints because that would make it easy lol.

What kind control board does the 211 come fitted with? Also the software version would be helpful (most likely printed on one of the eproms).

Found 2... You can enable and adjust as necessary. Hopefully helps.

ADV DOOr OPN

Turns on or off the Advance Door Opening feature
O= Disabled
1 = Enabled
*Range is 0,1*


ADV DOOR TIME

Inserts a delay time for advance door opening.
This allows the opening of the doors to be delayed
after the door zone becomes active in those cases
where the door zone cam is longer than 3". Time
delay is .1 sec (100 msec).
0 = doors open as soon as the door zone is
activated
1-255 = time to delay after door zone is activated
before opening the doors.

**Range is 0-255**

***DEFAULT IS 0 FOR BOTH***


Al timer values are in 100 msec increments (i.e. '8' = 800 msec).
