I did a mod a year ago and swapped out a ascension 2k for a tac 32 with the wittur midi/Supra door mod setup. I lost the board in operator yesterday and stole one from an upcoming mod. When I went to swap out I noticed the new wittur board was the midi/Supra V2 and there were some differences. Main difference was the wasn’t a CAN expansion board on the new version like the old had. Instead there was a small harness that plugged into a different spot on the board that said CAN so that’s where I wired CH,CL and SHLD. On the old setup these wires went to a plug directly into CAN expansion board along with a G24. I didn’t see where G24 would go on this harness so I didn’t use it. The V2 board does have a plug for the expansion board so I’m wondering if I should just be using that? Honestly I’m just looking to see if anyone has swapped out the older midi/Supra drive board with a midi/Supra V2 that I can bounce some ?’s off. I got it in, wired and performed the learn w/no issues but it doesn’t seem to be communicating with controller when swapped to auto which is causing me to think I need the CAN board instead of their new harness. Any input would be appreciated. Sorry for the book.

What kind of controller is the upcoming Mod?
As far as I know all the Tac32s use the CAN expansion board but also have TKE’s software in them. You could try using the CAN board but may not work.

We got it. Upcoming mod is a 32 as well. The V2 is a bit different than the V1 but I like the V2 better for a couple reasons, mainly more adjustments through the wittur tool and you can initiate and perform the learned run just with open and close buttons on operator instead of having cover off and hitting the learn button on board. Everything was right however I couldn’t communicate with controller until I re-learned my CAN. Once I did that I was good to go. Thanks for the response.
