Looking for insight on my issue. Car does not respond to hall calls or car calls. 8 landing tac 20 simplex, 4th landing to top floor hall fixtures / arrival lantern blinks continuesly. Daisy chain hall call boards, all boards has green led lite. Reseed each connector. On IMS get 1085 faults, and CHK SHUTD. Can move car inspection. Vertify all normally closed contact inputs good. Notice HSF1 (hall fire on) is off which is normal, but HSF2 ( hall fire off) should be on, did jump the switch but no success. In IMS can force fire phase 1 on, car return to fire landing and door stays open. Assuming the software is good.
How can I proof my hall node(L24 board) is bad and which one?
If the hall network fail should be able to have car calls? Right?

You need to find the LN card for the hall. Either in the controller or a box in the hoistway. If you have the 1085 SPI loop error the LED will be flashing fast meaning error. Slow flash rate is what you want. First turn around all of your fixtures, button and lantern and inspect the L24 cards and CAT 5 ends. If you see anything bad, replace it. Sometimes you have to take a known good L24 card and swap it in one at a time to see when you get a good flash rate back. Could also be a cable. You can use a cable tester to test each cable. A lot of times the problem is at or just before or after the fixture that has its light on all the time. Could also be the LN itself but rule out everything in the loop first. To replace the LN you’ll need LON config file and LON Talk tools.

Fix issues with replacing blinking L24 boards. Found Node B is hall network and Node A is car network. In IMS under Service-Lon Explorer: can check individual ports settings.
