We've been messing around with this car off and on for quite some time and finally able to now run the car. Had issues with the main brake not picking, which turned out to be a few issues, nonetheless, able to again run the car and keep getting a 0197 fault in either direction.

1. Car will take a Car call from the controller, level in the floor and then fault either CH1 or CH2 on the Adon. Reset and car in either direction will again take a call and fault out with the same fault.


2. I performed a Adon learn, Lon Setup and Adon Learn again. Is there something or I'm sure there's something missing with regards to this hoistway or shaft setup. Does anyone have the procedure for a shaft setup.


3. Also and will worrying about it later, but there's a significant amount of rollback with the car. Again, not much of a concern right now, but anyone have aby quick tips drive or CPU parameter related.

For shaft setup in KONE LCE you should put the car in button floor that 61U,30,77N is lighted in Inspection mode, then put 5-2-1 and Normal

For rollback, could be related to load that it self can cause the shaft setup fail.

So firstly check the load in 5-1 and try to put load half of capacity in car

Hey appreciate the quick feedback. Actually found my book, with some info.

I think the issue is the encoder. Can't run on insp for more than maybe 3 feet and it then stops and then can run again and every time after the same until I get it to a floor or designation. Went on the cartop (tach or encoder riding the rail) and pull back on the encoder it able to run as long as needed (on insp.) Though would fault the Adon, Figuring this encoder is causing most if not all my issues.

Problem is don't know to replace it or is there a way to learn / check w/o replacing
