Arrived on site car was 100% non responsive. Hooked up the world tool and it was at rest on 1st floor both normals good and t1u was high t1d low so everything ok with where the car was. Fired a call to the second floor and the inputs for up,upa went high and wye for a second then delta and it showed it was in high for phase. Not a single relay picked on my mb board and the starters did nothing and it went into fault F after a min or so. We just replaced the mf io and the cps io boards a couple weeks ago. I’m at a loss I can’t believe I lost a board already. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance. It’s a 2 stop hydro. Powers good up to MB/p3-1 and rp is picked i swapped the relay for shits and gigs.

Memo, Any chance you tried to run it on inspection? Is the SAFR relay energized? Also I just want to clarify, are you getting your outputs and energizing the coils for up, ups, hs, wye then del? Is the pump running? Does the pump run? Are your up coils on the valve energizing?

No I just get inputs. Controller does absolutely nothing. No direction relay picks and no starter picks. Does the same thing in inspection. SAFR is picked yes

Do you have the adjuster prints from the manual? With them Its fairly straightforward to put a meter on the outputs and and see if they’re working or not. With multiple relays not picking it seems like a bad board or no common to the relay coils.

You hooked up your tool to the controller. What was the phase, info in fault window and mode? And the fault counters C,D&F are cleared?

Dirt-no adjuster prints I’m going back today with I/o boards as that’s what I’m leaning towards just hope I’m wrong.
Elm-once high goes away it goes into shutdown. Fault is F which according to world documents is street car which makes no sense. The street car input in personality does not come on and car doesn’t move when faulted

When you have a car fault it’s best to look at the display that shows the fault/warning bits and see which is high. I sent a PM yesterday.

There’s also an optocoupler array and a Darlington pair driver chip on the Motion board that fire Wye, Delta, UP, & UPX. Separate Opto and transistor chips fire DN, DNX, & HS though so if HS didn’t pick either look for something common to both. The optocouplers use +12A voltage that comes in on P7-8 from the CPU P2-1.

It was actually something on the function board that got it at least moving but then I never got HS. Traced that back to a bad ribbon cable wire coming off I/O1 thanks to those prints. Cars back in service as of end of day yesterday and no issues today. It gets a good amount of use as it’s in a large school so good sign. Thanks again for all the info and documentation dirt helped a ton!
