Hello everyone.
I am working on a MP1230 duplex setup. Car 1 is having an issue keeping multiple car calls latched in either direction of travel. The moment it opens the door fully and the DOL opens it cancels all the other calls. Almost like it is partially in fire service.. but it still responds to halls calls. But you only have 1 floor selective operation not collective selective (if I am wording that correctly).

Any ideas?

Do you have a PCD tool? Need to see if it’s logging a fault that’s causing the calls to drop. If you don’t a good guess would be a fault related to the limits so make sure DOL and DCL inputs to the controller are changing state correctly with a meter.

Sorry for the delay. Took a while in part ordering delivery etc.. but yes. Ultimately the issue was in the DOL/DCL contacts. Sensitive, worn out contacts and cams. Replaced and off she ran. Also had a gummy DC coil block not picking even though it was fully adjusted as close as it could be. Repaired that with a washer that would keep the contactor block and coil block from dropping to low.
