Heh fellow brothers, I have a 2 simple question to ask of all of you: when you guys are faced with equipment where there's no prints, its old, and your unable to find resources to help, what do you do at that point? Tell the boss and customer you tried but was unable to successfully restore the car or escalator? Suggest a Mod? How does your decision weigh on your self esteem...in the sense that you weren't able to complete a job......
2. I just got ahold of a 1970 westinghouse hyl car. The prints are huge but we'll preserved. Unable to open doors or even see what type of door pick needs to be made. 6 guys came before me and were unsuccessful. I dont wanna be the 7th. Car may be on the final down limit but not sure. Printd detail a schematic with many terminals, im just have a hard time finding these points on the controller...because they dont seem to correspond. Controller has line starter on left side. Terminals to right. Then a revolving frame with various relays... any thoughts would be appreciated.....thanks...
