Basically in a 4 car group 1-4, a mod began on car 1 (all will be done). Car 1 is the master slave so when the mod guys began removing the cabinet they were cutting wires and we lost hall calls for everything. They then reattached what they could and calls came back. We kept the cabinet door because all the wires are cluster fucked together. Car 2 took over all the hall calls for 3+4.
The issue is when more than 2 hall calls are pressed the input/output boards Christmas tree and light up, doors stutter, and cars only function based on what calls are placed inside. Hall Calls then don’t function until we toggle all three switches on car 2 on the sio board
Tech support said something about an overload on the hall call riser and someone else mentioned making sure l1a is grounded properly. I tried grounding out l1a today but still nothing.

In a normal situation, you can main line car one, and car 2 will take care of business. Car 2 is prob looking for some inter-connects from car one. If D2 on the SIO Board is toggling, it is indicating a malfunction. D2 can be either on or off. Choosing to start the Mod with car 1 was un-good.
