We have a 10 year old modernized 211 duplex that is very good condition. In the past year we continue to get Fault code DTC on one car and at the same time the other car shuts down with a SHD fault code. DTC activates as designed and reopens / closes the doors howerver during this cycle they occasionall will not fully power the door closed the last 1 inch and the car shuts down. When the processor is reset all goes back to normal for 2-3 weeks. On the SHD car fault it will shut down 3-4 inches below the 3rd floor. Selector sensors, tape ,magnets all check out good. Car speed, slow down and leveling are all within specs. When we reset processor all returns to normal for several weeks before it happens again. Whats odd is they both shut down with these fauls at the same time. Any thouhts or comments would be appreciated.

the car door doesnt close all the way or hatch door ? i know there is what we call the otis bump it is accumulated dirt that builds up on the car door and hatch door track...if you run your hand on the track under the door lock you will feel a little bump scrape it off and you will be fine.....the other car might be shutting down cause the other car is not switching over the hall buttons sounds like your cross connection are cross connected !

what happens if you pull the main line on the car that gets the dtc?? i would imagine the other car would shut down then its something with your switch over module or cross connections.
