can ne1 help i have a mce that is not duplexing one car displays a "d" as it should but other car will not display "s" or take on the "d" when the other is shut down....tech support cant seem to help i have a pca-01 board without eprom so i cant swap with a pca-t as it is not compatable...thanks in advance for any ideas!!

Do you know what year these units were installed? What happens if you shut off the "d" car? Is there a transfer relay to transfer hall and emergency power to the "S" car when the "D" car is shut off?

i believe they were installed in 1999 and no there is no transfer switch but if "d" car is shut off the other is running as a simplex so it has no effect

I've had this problem before. If the cars seem to refuse to duplex, you may check that they are properly designated. car A, and car B.If both designated car B they will chase each other, drop calls, and fail to answer hall calls.
