Their is one KONE elevator that shows me 150, 151 and 152 fault codes and its manual shows me NTS switch failure. Can any body please tell me about NTS switch and where is it located?

people have to ride in elevators. they want to ride safely. elevators are not meant to be worked on by back yard mechanics. all code compliant elevators have NTS Switch Systems. all qualified mechanics know what they do and where they are located. this forum is for people in the industry to help each other with day to day problems. it is fairly easy for us to know who is in the industry, and who isn't.

Haroon, spend the money and have Kone take care of your elevator. You have had many issues with it in the last month.

Keep in mind the personal liability you are placing on yourself. The risk you are placing on others who will use this equipment. You are not trained, qualified, licensed or insured! As an engineer I would think the effort you have put forward to educate yourself would have given you the wisdom to recognize this.

Would you risk the life of your loved ones so recklessly?

Regarding my own experience, i am Electronic Engineer having more than two years of experience in repairing an electronic cards for all brands of elevator. This is my first experience that i am dealing with electrical and mechanical problems of an elevators. I am not alone in this company but we have technicians having 24 years of experience in this field. We only face problems in KONE elevators because this is the first time we are servicing this brand of elevators therefore we dont have any technical detail and all of you know that without having any technical detail no one can do anything whether no matter how much he qualified.Any how we have arranged one KONE technician and he fixed that problem.

What country are you operating in? We have a different description of both Elevator Mechanics and Engineers in the USA/Canada.

As you say, you are a electronics engineer with two years experience. Your degree is helpful, but does it qualify you as a elevator mechanic!

You say you work at an elevator service company and your not alone. Then let the qualified mechanics at your company handle this. Stick to what you are qualified to do. If you want to be involved in more then repairing electronic boards, apply yourself and acquire the proper education needed.

I imagine you to be about 26 years old and eager to show your employer what you can accomplish. Be careful in doing so you don't force your employer into a bad situation.
