One property I use to take care of the consultants brought their own mechanic with them. They did not communicate with me that they were in the building. I seen a freight car out. I always try to locate the car first and see what condition its in before I head to the machine room. And there they were on top of the car with the doors propped open. Consultant got really nasty with me when I told them they need to communicate with me when you are on the property. He said he has his own mechanic and they don't need me. I had to bring the safety coordinator for that property involved so we could work out a system that would please everyone. I stayed professional and kept my cool when the consultant starting mouthing off to me. He ended up turning in a very good evaluation for the job.
