i have done it before, it has been awhile, but it was fairly easy, just had to add a general purpose i/o board into one of the slots, i can't remember which one off hand, then wire the card reader relay contacts into the harness that came with the board. that was all, no OMT needed on the job i did. now I'm not sure if all 401 came with secure floor software, but i think it would be fairly standard. i believe the prints have the card reader inputs on them, if they do, then it also gives you the i/o card number and pin number of connector. they have 2 different general purpose i/o boards one hi voltage and one low voltage, not sure which one i used if you need more info, i can try and see if i have any notes like i said the wiring is really easy, the traveling cable had extra shielded twisted pairs which made it nice. i did it on a 20 story building, and the only problem we had was with the card reader itself, the reader had to have some sort of a booster on it because of the distance, that had to be added after the fact.
