yes sbrmilitia it can be done without the OMT i have done it a few times, the general purpose i/o card has card reader lockout inputs for that particular slot in the rack. just had to wire HL1 through nclosed contact in security panel,to the input and the car calls are automatically locked out. sure you could wire each button, or common, then have to deal with the fire service issue, but why? when all you have to do is what i say, and the fire service issue is resolved in software. now i have only done it at one job, on 3 different groups, and it worked on them all, the wiring diagrams on the job showed the inputs, and card number/pin number. not sure if all 401 had this software, but this job did, and again. no OMT was needed.
