What does the error code F 1 mean?
This code is displaying, elevator car does not move, and there are lights blinking next to 'ERR' and 'DOOR'.

Asking what the meaning of an error code is a technical question.

Koss is giving you good advice. Elevator professionals train for years on the job and in the class room just to qualify. After that they spend a lifetime cultivating their skills.

I'm sure you wouldn't want a hospital nurse performing open heart surgery on one of your loved ones.

My point is that a elevator professional is the person you need to place the safety of the people who use your elevator.

With that said, do you need help finding such a professional?

If yes, just let us know what area your building is located.

I have notified an elevator professional.
Since Im not receiving any help from them, I'm trying to understand and get information on exactly what the problem means

Our elevator is experiencing two problems.

An F1 code and a door error code (a KEY-S problem)

Thank you for your advice though.

Only solution is get a lift engineer called in,,,,or call your maintenance company with whom your elevator has a contract!
