United tech newbie U Joined: Sep 2014 Posts: 35 Nashville TN	Freight elevator doors are stopping about a foot from closed and contactor is dropping out. Does the same thing when opening. Any ideas. Door breaking timer?

ABE Mechanic A Joined: May 2011 Posts: 338	Do the doors have the retractable cable positioning encoders? If so that potenially could be your problem if you have a bad one.
