Unico 1100 Ac Drive. When car just starts a run and only in the down direction I drop the fault contact on the drive. Gives me a low power supply error? Only in the down direction? Anyone seen this before. Getting 58,24,94 errors on the wizard.

58 is an auto reset 3 or more in an hour
94 is your EMSD
24 is where is suspect is the root of your trouble. Your demand and reference velocity are to far apart. You may want to focus on the encoder...

We are losing the ready contact from the drive right at the start of acceleration. Only in the down direction....Suspecting the tach is failing at times?

The "ready contact from the drive" that you are referring to? Is it the contact wired from GV to LCS in the drive?

If it is, this contact opens when the drive sees the motor RPMs over speeding.

Earlier AC drives utilized a UT, DT module on the controller. Check those if you have them

Can you utilize the RVU to "capture" (trigger mode) any info to help narrow down the problem?

It was a low power supply on +15v. Miltronics supported the repair on the Drive. I did talk to Unico tech support and both were very helpful!
