Hi guys I have an old kone mono space I think the first version g01 with the v3f16es drive. My colleague turned the lift off while servicing and after powering on could not drive and would only get the error of 5 unsuccessful starting attempts which I think was 0051 from my memory.

We have checked all safety circuit inputs to lce 230 and all are fine. We are not able to get the main contactor relay on this board to energise which supplies a ground to a2 of the drive contactors. We replaced the lce230 board but still the same problem. Even if we jumper that contact while trying to drive on rdf or auto, the contactors will pull in but lift won't drive. We will also get the start permit and main contactor LEDs to light up on processor if we do this.

This seems to be a drive problem but we have no errors 0026 and drive ok led on processor is up. Mcen led on drive board is not lighting up either even if we jump the ground to the main contactors. I was thinking perhaps the control board of the drive could be the problem? Is there an output from the drive that pulls in the main contactor relay on lce230 board?

When you replaced the LCE main board did you also replace the NVRAM and program all the parameters or use the old one? i had a similar issue and turned out the NVRAM was bad.

Dmhughes is up to date on these and he will know better than i.

We haven't replaced processor just lce230 board for the safety circuit.

Check the resistance on all the contactor contacts inside the drive, also have a look at the brake module

**Make sure the door op is NOT on TEST. This will cause the same problem. Won't run and no errors. Double check that and I'd even ohm it out, check it on the prints.

If your drive was bad, you'd get a 26 fault. Make sure your start permit light is not on when you're not trying to run. If it is, trace is out on the prints. go to 4_1 and check what mode it's in.

What's the LCE230 board? Are you in United Stated?

In aus you should have a lock proving relay in panel if lce it sounds like a lock not picking up what maint were they doing and check that they haven't bumped a plug also from memory the growing to the board won't go through a coil it will be direct Is it tms50 version

Did you replace the board with the same version, was it G01 G02, was the problem on before you changed it if so why did you change it?

repairmanUZ, yes it is possible. Get an elevator company to do it.

Hi.. i am a new user. also i am new for Kone lift. i have a problem with lce 375. there is no any fault also lift in foult indicator is off. but the lands indicators and cabin indicator are show "firmean". the key of fireman is ok and there is no any fire signal. what can be the problem?

What can u say,,,,when your heating breaks down,,,u get a heating engineer in,,,when your electrics go off,,get a sparky in,,etc,,,
So when a lift plays up,,what do u do,,,yep,,diy! Get a lift engineer in,,please!
