Does anyone have any experience with this drive? The elevator Is traveling up in the selected down direction.
Motor is a 31HP (Ac/Dc) Loher Motor, 5 Lead.
Has PM, UM, DM Contactors

In the up direction PM and UM pick as advertised runs up
In the down direction PM and DM pick but elevator travels UP.

- Runs on inspection up no problem.
- Put elevator at mid point - Not drifting up
- Down selected on inspection. Elevator runs in the up direction for 7-10 seconds, causes the drive to fault out.
- Sent drive out to see if there was any issues.
Drive installed and problem persist.
- Swapped L1 and L3 still travels up when down selected up.
- MCE says they dont know.
- GAL offered some Tech support on the Drive and they don't know

Voltage off drive
UP
2U-78v ac
2W-82v ac
2V-119v ac
1U-87v ac
1V-110v ac

Down
2U- 88v ac
2W- 92v ac
2V- 120v ac
1U- 120v ac
1V- 114v ac

Static
2U- 119v ac
2W- 119v ac
2V- 120v ac
1U- 59v ac
1V- 59v ac

I have the original Loher Technical description and Operating manual(PDF) if needed.

Yes it does have load weighing. Peaking my Curiosity. I would assume it would just cancel calls... Honestly this hasn't even crossed my mind... The nights I don't bring the prints home im wishing I had them.

Is it calibrated right? If its off the the motor/drive may not be pre-torqueing enough. See if you can take it out of the equation, and see how it runs after that.

Are you getting a voltage out to the motor in the down direction. It seems as though you may be opening the Brake and drifting. It may also be drifting in the up direction.
