Put adams gatekeeper max in.
Used wires from old dover electric eye.
Everything on adams board seems good.
Blowing F1 6 amp fuse every time we turn on CPU.
??????

Do you have the prints? Try and trace your wires back to the terminals. What terminals are you connected to?

Did the original photo eye work before the upgrade?
Shorted old photo eye wiring?
No new cable with the GateKeeper???
Compatible input/output voltages?

Jkh- I have non job specific prints I can see the CpU swith is in line with the fuse
I hooked it up exactly with the old wires for the old electric eye.

Elmcannic- the eye worked i trimes back the wire and ran it direct to the gate keeper box varified with adams tech the voltages the new gkmax takes all voltage. Aso the gate keeper is corect with the lights for power , light curtain, buzzer sounds when you brake the beam. After install we tried to put power on amd realized we had no pi in cop or hall and no power to D.O. Motor .
Also no relays or board lights in controller checked fusses and F1 blows only when i turn on cpu. Power with doors on, auto , and io dont blow fuse switch on cpu and pop!

I disconected the wiring to the gate keeper and still blowing F1 seems like it has nothing to do with the install??? double checked everything with adams wiring and voltages are good anyone know what can pull enough on cpu to pop this fuse ??

Does anyone have experience with PS1 problems on T4 ??

Yep, they only have so many power ups. Disconnect the card rack fan to make sure but it's probably the PS1. I've replaced lots of them.

Just my 8 cents worth here;

Did the original PE work?
Do you know the original PE cable is good?
Is the original cable still clamped at the end of the car door header?
When you say you disconnected the GK, ( and the fuse still blew) did you also disconnect the original wiring from their termination points to eliminate a possible back feed to the controller? I mean like disconnect the whole darn thing.
Did you abandon the PE bypass switch on the COP?

Hope you gotter figured out today.

Disconnect the L and N wires on PS1 and see if you still pop a fuse...

Update: Did disconected L and N on PS1 and stiped blowing fuse. Took off all other wires on PS1 after replacement of L and N and did pop fuse.
replaced PS1 and cpu all back up now.
I have all the wire off to the gatekeeper and im a little gunshy to put them back on incase they caused the issue. Im reading all currect voltages the only thing that doesnt seem correct is the power feed wire rings to ground i traced it back to LSN on controller and took wires off to elimate any hoistway wire issues the terminal in grounded in contoller maybe this is correct ??????

Not familiar PE bypass switch??

All done just PS1 and bad timing

When they (PS1) go, they go. In my experience, most every time I've lost one it was after I killed the power to replace a module or do something simple. Very annoying.
Make sure you're not reading a ground through a transformer.
