I had a IGBT explode on a miconic a's drive yesterday. I can see that these igbt's have been replaced before on some of the other drives. Does a bad VEC board or a bad firing board on the drive cause this to happen. If not, when this happens is it probable that these boards were damaged by the exploding igbt.
