be careful, the door comm port is a rs485 port, if you hook up your 232 cord, you could ruin your tool, if there is 24 volts on the 485 port pins. get a UIT and plug into board if it is a 6300py3 that way you can do all the setup from UIT. I have tried using ims to change door parameters when we replaced a board, and it did not want to change it. had to get the UIT.
