Hi guys,
Have a tac20 with HD door operator. Board got water damage.
Replace new board. Do door setup and the travel set to 0. But it will not send back the house value and will not got out of setup.
Manually enter a value. Then the door open and close normally. But every time the elevator when is no call. The door statue will go to setup and the door open and close few time before it stop. Also, I cannot communicate with the ims on the door operator connector, only on controller.
Am I doing something wrong?

What board did you use? You need to replace the board with a 6300py3... Make sure your jumpers are correct.
Controller is the only way to communicate through ims

be careful, the door comm port is a rs485 port, if you hook up your 232 cord, you could ruin your tool, if there is 24 volts on the 485 port pins. get a UIT and plug into board if it is a 6300py3 that way you can do all the setup from UIT. I have tried using ims to change door parameters when we replaced a board, and it did not want to change it. had to get the UIT.

i dont think theres a UIT port on PY3'S(if there is please inform,)..... unless its a PA6. depends on the vintage. if its a PA3/6 then you need to upload new software. ver23 is the latest.

no uit. still not getting it to learn and the door status still showing setup. leave elevator in service for now with note said that "don't worry about the door opening and closing by itself it will run if you press the floor button".
Anybody have suggestion?

replace the encoder. replace belts . if that fails you have a faulty board

update:
Turn out the problem is faulty DCL sensor on the new board. But for some reason, I still cannot do the learn on the door by setting the travel to O. But manually setting the travel # do make the elevator run normal.
