i am new to forum and elevators, but not to mechanics and electronics. Our condo has been having issues with the current elevator as it was purchased used and i truly believe it was not installed correctly.
Long story short, no one wants to work on it, but we are low on funds to purchase new one currently. Any way someone can assist me or where i can purcahse technial manual to check this code so elevator can be put back in service? we just spent $12k to supposedly fix doors opening and closing and then the motor went 2 days after supposed tech did all work.
As such, he was fired as he did not guarantee his work and pretty much always took long to repair simple problems i think just to gouge us on charging astronomical rates.
would appreciate any help if anyone can provide even at a fee.
