Looking for help on a Otis MRS controller. Car runs fine on car calls. Will not answer hall calls. The elevator will slowdown for the hall call car will stop but doors will not open. Moves to the next hall call, same thing, no doors.

Can you provide a picture from that controller?
I think never saw that controller, but if it works like LCB2 mainboard from MCS and MRL, there is 2 dip sitches. One for cut the power for door operation (to not open) and the other one for cutting the hall calls and works like you said.

This is a relay logic controller. I don't have a print in front of me and I am only going by memory. If it is slowing down for a hall call that means HST is coming in. If the doors are not opening, XDO and or CPR is not coming in, look in those circuits and you should find an HST contact in one of them that opens the doors.

Does it have an IDO relay? Initiate door open. Are the LR relays getting up?

check the 2a2b relay of HZ..this has to drop out when you stop the n/c contacts are on the ground side of xdo feed..
