Have an Otis 211 that everything is working on except hall calls. You can fire car calls from controller and car but the hall calls will not latch. Don't have a tool handy at the moment was just wondering if anyone had any ideas. Already tried the onboard clr0. Thanks in advance. Side note also checked addressing on each button and confirmed that they are all correctly addressed.

Here we go, On the CPU be sure that the "Ring l.e.d" is blinking red and the RSL is blinking green. Power for the Hall link is on the PSSB brd. Plug 102 term 108 and 109 should read 1.230 Hz with your meter, may need to wait 5 sec to get a good reading. Term 112 and 113 is the 30 VDC on the same plug. If the Hz is wrong, unplug the plug and check the board term and see if you get 1.230 Hz. If you Hz go up to 1.230Hz you may have a bad remote station brd in one of your hall buttons. Also make sure your hall buttons are address in the I/Os. 1127 frt up hall button and 1144 is dwn frt hall button. If you have a Hand held tool, check M-1-1-2 and make sure gcco and hcco are lower case letters. Those are card readers inputs. If they are upper case, then the Hall calls will not latch. You can also check M-1-3-1-1 RCB-NO =1 and RSLCFG =4. Also M-1-3-1-4 GROUP=1. Try this stuff first. Good Luck.

I can't help with original question but have a similar issue. I have an older pair of duplex 211's where the hall button wires run to one master car and the signal then runs through it to the second "slave" car. Slave car does not "see" the hall wires directly.

Hall calls work on the "master car" just fine. If we shut off the mainline on the "master car" the "slave car" will answer hall calls.

Problem is that when both of them are on normal operation the slave car never gets to respond to hall calls. Send "master car" away and press hall call, with "slave" at the same landing, it never gets dispatched.

Already confirmed that they are set for DUPLEX operation in their parameters. Have the service tool, just haven't been to the job for some time. Wanted to check if there was something else between the parameters to check before we start replacing boards.

Thats if you dont have a handheld. If you have a service tool, reset it through there.

Gentlemen, as I’m having the same problem now with a 10 year old 211, I was wondering if you could post the cure.
Went through all that was suggested and also changed the “Line termination board “ located in the wiring chase at the top of the hatch. It had a cooked resistor. Leaning toward the cpu at this point. Thanks in advance for any info at all.

Just to follow up on my hall button issue, new CPU fixed the problem.
