No, these were not pressurized. Just straight welded pipe mufflers maybe 4” - 6” dia. Usually on Miprom 1 to Miprom SL vintage. Dry and submersible units. What a mess! We drained the tank and as much as the jack as possible and replaced the valve. I like the screened clean out idea, like a Y filter? I can’t imagine getting by without replacing the valve though, the goo was literally everywhere when we took it all apart.
