did you check the 5 and 12 volt power supply to the clc board? It might be one of the other boards, door or selector, if the communication chips were damaged on them then the clc wont communicate to the tool it will say clc absent. to check this either remove the communication cable from the door and selector and then see if the clc will communicate to the tool, if it does then plug on board in at a time to see which one kills the line. make sure the 12 volt power supply is set to around 10.75 volts, and the 5 volt is set at 5. also make sure that the 24 volt power supply from the controller is making it to the cop, If I can remember right I think the 24 volt supply passes through the toggle switch near the 5 and 12 volt power supply which is in the cop beneath the clc board.
