Anyone know anything about programming the dde-v35 door drives on a schindler 5500?

Does It need to be programmed with the hand tool? Can be programmed through cadi?

Yes, varidor 35

you can only programme speed rate and learning with keypad that is on the door. all parameters inside the controller. you can adjust via menu.

Does anyone have any manuals on the 5500 they would like to share or trade for? I do have a variety of other manuals/prints i could help with. Thanks

Can we activate heavy door mode via the smlcd? Or do we need the door drive hand tool?

there is no hand tool for the door. you can activate via SMLCD.

You have to define the "Floor Map table" for landing doors with normal- / heavy doors.

On the SMLCD go to:

- Login -> Parameters -> Door -> LanDoorWeight

For each floor level:
- Enter physical floor numer:
- Floor = 1 -> OK

- Set door weight to:
- Normal Door or Heavy Door.
