It is a ten stop. When on automatic running up from 1 between 6 and 7 it will drop u1 and u2 and pick d1 and d2 and start going down. If I hit a hall call on the way down it will answer it. When on inspection running up from 1 on about 3 u1 and u2 will drop and pick right back and keep going up. If I start on 2 it does the same on the 6th flr. Has any one experienced any thing like this or know what could cause it. Thanks

focus on troubleshooting the car dropping direction while on inspection, it is a fairly simple circuit from that aspect. things to check out, pushing the inspect button picks ua relay, which in turn picks ux relay which then picks u relay. see which of these relays drop while inspecting the car up from the machine room. If ua stays picked but ux drops, then it is probably safety circuit or door lock. if u drops but ua and ux are still up, then look into normal limit circuit or ms, fp falling out. good starting point good luck

They all 3 drop at the same time then pick right back up.

Found it. It. was a timer added to the controller and not the print the timer went strait to the da relay and would pick da after it faild. Thanks for the. reply scott.

great, wonder why they would add such a timer.

Got to love people that make wiring changes and never mark up the prints.

New problem same elevator. This is elevator #7 of 7 and is hooked to a group dispatch. This is what its doing. It will go to bottom open and shut the doors but it does not cancel the hall call if there is one. Then goes to top floor open and shuts doors does not cancel hall call if there is one. Then back to bottom and starts over. It will answer and cancel any car calls made. I do know hc,uc,and dc never get up. Does this sound like a controller problem or something with my group dispatch? Thanks again for any help..
