Have a 23 stop Otis gearless machine with GAL controller and DSD drive.
My problem is in the down direction from the 5th floor to the lobby car vibrates bad in high speed then violently when leveling
Only in down direction and from 5th floor down bad vibration
We checked rollers and guide rails all ok
Balance the car and the car is 200LBS over but the thing is when you add more weight to car will not vibrate as bad
??

It’s going to be in your gain/response settings and maybe even a notch filter. I bet it doesn’t like the resonance of the ropes st that particular point and load.
