Still,working on a 2008 tac 50. This car has a door operator that does not communicate with a Fast tool In IMS. Lost this universal door board in a power bump. This unit is programmed with a small LCD board with a key pad. I have a HD-03 door operator manual from IMS the programming is slightly different. Similar commands but not all are the same. Anyone have a write up in how to set up the universal door board with the small lcd key pad?

I’m also,getting a constant DOL error. The DOL and DCL are set up and working. There is an interface board that excepts the signals from the controller like DO and DC. That boards is called the 6300TX2. I’m thinking maybe one of the (Opto couplers, Swift terminology) may be triggered high? Is there any way to monitor

The universal door board does not communicate through IMS. Have to use the Universal door board App and orange cable. The IMS install disk 2.4.x.x comes with IMS'S, DMCI Fast, Door Fast. and UDC Fast. UDC fast is for the Universal Door Board. All but IMS use the orange cable. RS232 to 485. To use the orange cable the Serial port driver must be changed to ACPI.

What’s the part number of the door board? Something doesn’t sound right. Is this an actual Tac50 with card rack or is it a 50-03 or 50-04? The ABN boards with UIT that replaced the original Smartech don’t have any additional interface board. They are discrete already. It sounds like you’re talking about an HDLM operator that was used on Mod jobs with TAC50-04. Not that it couldn’t be used on a Tac50 but I’ve never seen it done an not sure why it would be.

On the lcd screen go to commands. Hit anl which is autonull to erase old scan. Then hit Ltr learn travel. I believe doors must be closed to learn travel. After you hit Ltr push mdo button on doorboard until doors reach the open limit. Go to save to flash to save your scan. Put door operator from test to auto and it should work

Autonull does not erase the scan. It tunes the analog to digital converters. The sequence is good practice but the reasoning is off. Doing a learn travel automatically erases the old scan.
