Was about to do a full load test on gen 2. Car was running normal. Put car on independent service and Put weights on car and it wouldn’t run. Took weights off the car and it ran to the top floor . It’s a two stop car. When it got to the top floor it shut down with Saftey chain open . And will not reset. It doesn’t seem to be the usual suspects as those inputs are active . The controller in hall station says car at floor 1. But it is at floor 2. Here is a list on the inputs in upper and lower case as indicated on service tool

The indicator in the car says 2. But I thought I remembered the car floor screen in door jam said 01.. fault log in drive says no saf mcss

Does anybody know what else is in the Saftey chain that could cause this ?

So my Saftey circuit is all made but safe and safe 2 are still not active. I have done a power on reset with service tool but something still holding it out . Is there another reset I’m missing ?

Try a hard reset from the inspection panel

CES. controller stop switch was bad. That was the problem. CES was not listed in my inputs on the service tool. I don’t know why. Only PES and ICES. that is the 2nd stop switch I had to replace on brand new gen 2s.
