I’ve got a miprom hs shut down on a 73 fault LRD DLu leveling unit failure. I’m not getting 61N on the LCE. I installed a new cigar switch for DLU but still have the same problem. From the prints it looks as though 61:N comes from the DLU switch. Also I tried a new LRD relay. Found the car shut down level with the 1st floor?

Will it run on normal at all? Does it run on inspection? And if it does, does it just come to the 1st floor in leveling speed and just park after you take it off inspection?

Are you sure this is an HS controller? They did not use the 61N designation. You may be using the Kone Hydro controller, or you are using the wrong print for the HS control. The HS used the 375 LCECPU Board. The LED'S for leveling was designated upper leveling unit and lwr leveling unit.

I’m Sure it’s a miprom hs I looked on another controller and on that one I am getting the 61:N led. Also there is 61:N drawn on the print with the DLU sensor. I can operate the car on inspection if I clear the faults through menu 2-1. If I move the car on inspection out of the door zone the car will give an 83 fault then level into the floor and flag the 73 fault.

The leveling switches should be 3/8 of an inch when encountering The magnet. the polarity of the magnets alternate, so if the bottom mag is north pointing up the next mag is south pointing up. the white paint on the mags is south. Also sometimes the magnets cause the metal they are attached to become magnetized, try putting some tape at the end of the magnetic strip. when you are at floor level all 3 led's should be lit. LRU, LRE, and LRD in the car panel board. upper left corner. Good Luck.

I got it going after replacing the lower leveling unit I ran the car top to bottom on inspection. Then tried it on auto it leveled in and started working all I can figure is leveling units were out of sink?

Still having issues I’ve replaced both the Ulu and DLu sensors car runs on inspection. If I cut it loose it just parks floor level with a 73 fault. LRU LRD LRE leds are lit in the cop. But the LCE isn’t getting the 61:N signal in the controller. Any ideas?

So after the signal from the switches go to the car panel board, they go through the travel cable to the hydro level shifter board in the MR Control panel. On that board they land at the CN1 cable connector, LRU info is 115vac at pin 7 and LRD info is at pin 8. The LED input status, on normal service,at floor level on the shifter board is, LRU info off and LRD info off. the opposite of the car panel LED'S. The LRE info is also off on normal at floor level.

Thought I had it fixed but the problem came back. 73 fault car is level with the top floor landing. Ld info is high 125vac at cn1-8. Lu info low 0vac at cn1-7. Both LRD and LRU relays are picked. Seems like no matter what I do the car always has 125 volts on LDInfo even when LRD is high in the car. I’m leaner towards a bad HLsB board or a bad MRCB board but would like to prove it one way or the other?

Try removing the wires, 1st at the MRCB in the car, if the status changes there, see if it changes in the MR on the shifter bd.

I pulled the LRD wire in the cop but LRD Info cn1-8 still has 125vac on it? Even if I pull the wires off the DLU to lose LRD signal I never get LRD info to go low.

could it be on the direction limit and not being able to see LRD signal?? Is this unit on switch leveling or off switch leveling.??

So, if you remove a wire on the LRU does it show all is well through to the MRCB and the Shifter BD. to the CPU? If so then do the same thing tracing the signal on the LRD. You most likely have a bad Board or a bad wire, or connection. It should be traceable checking the LRU against the LRD. they should read the same all the way through.
