Another tip on this situation is to follow the instructions on the LDU cover as if you were going to PEBO the car up. Since it doesn't need the CAN bus for this often it will allow your screen to come up. Then go in and set 105 to on. This puts you in install mode. Power down, restore unit to normal operation ie turning off PEBO procedure. Try rebooting. On install it doesn't need the CANCNA on the car. But...it does need the drive. So if it still doesn't come up more than likely that CANIVF board on the drive is the issue. Unless I am mistaken Schindler will not sell you just that board. But they will repair your drive. It isn't cheap but as they say "it is what it is". Most repair shops do not have the means to do much more than a power up, so it has been worth the cost in my experience given no other alternatives.
