After saving AC motor Harmonic profile to flash in the 6300PA4, it stops working, no pulses to the motor anymore.
The PA6 works fine with the same profile. The PA4 was working before the saving profile to flash.
Is there any parameters difference between those two door boards ?
Thanks.

There aren’t different parameters but there are different acceptable ranges of some parameters. Those 2 boards aren’t technically compatible, PA3 and PA6 are the lighter duty boards and PA4 and PA7 are the heavier duty. It’s always best to just put a default profile in the board rather than downloading and uploading adjusted profiles.

Thank you for the answer.
I really apologize for the novice question, but where do I download the default profile for the PA4?
This TAC-32 uses 115V AC 3-phase Motor Harmonic setup and I am using the IMS software.
I will appreciate any help.

They’re in the installation of IMS. If you go to door Smart Fast then Transfer, click upload, then Default, then browse to the IMS folder (C:/programfiles(x86)/thyssen/IMS) they’re either in the Default folder where they should be or the Default folder will be inside Drawings. Pick the right profile and upload it.

So, the file to transfer using hyperterminal or other ZMODEM capable PC terminal software, directly to the door board, is exactly the same (file) used to download (Transfer) using IMS to the same board?
That make it easy.
Now, is there any other PC software or application that allows me to edit/change that profile on the bench instead of IMS and board connected?

Thank you.

I uploaded a working profile, then increased "close high speed" and save again with another name.
Opened both files in PC using HEX EDITOR NEO, and found the differences in hexadecimal.
The value is straight hexadecimal conversion of the speed (in decimal) in IMS.
So, given time and elbow grease, one could find out all the addresses in such file representing "what parameters" in IMS, and write a PC editor.
Then being that easy, I believe someone already make one PC editor for that.

Thank you.

So the files in IMS are not the same as the ones that you load through Hyperterminal. And I do have some stuff that I’m not going to share on making hex files with specific parameters. The only thing I’ve used it for though is making a file that works on my simulator so we can load it during training. And made separate left and right hand files for harmonic doors so you don’t have to change anything in IMS after loading. The presets work pretty close to perfect out of the box though and with the UIT to change parameters, even on a bench if you like, I don’t think all that is really very helpful.
